Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://zimba.gitbook.io/user-manual/product-guides/reports.md). # Reports The Reports Page provides a central hub for generating and accessing various financial and operational reports, offering insights and data analysis to support informed decision-making. ## Cash Based vs Accrual Based You can switch between **Accrual Based** and **Cash Based** reports depending on how you want your financial data to appear. * **Cash Based** – shows income and expenses **only when money is received or paid out**. * **Accrual Based** – records income and expenses **when they are earned or incurred**, even if payment hasn’t been made yet. Use the toggle on the report screen to switch between the two modes depending on your reporting preference.
## Balance Sheet The Balance Sheet page offers a financial overview of your organization's assets, liabilities, and equity. You have the option to filter the balance sheet based on specific periods and gaps. For instance, if you set a gap of 2 and select a monthly period, it means that there is a one-month interval between each occurrence.
## Trial Balance Trial Balance displays a detailed list of accounts and their balances, helping you verify financial record accuracy.
## Income Statement The Income Statement provides a breakdown of your organization's income and expenses, giving you a clear view of your financial performance over a specific period.
## Aging Report The Aging Report provides a detailed summary of outstanding invoices or accounts payable, sorted by the length of time they have been unpaid. It is a crucial tool for managing your receivables effectively. You can apply filters based on loan products, loan officers, dates and age range (minimum and maximum). {% hint style="info" %} The age filter allows you to filter loans based on a specific age range. {% endhint %}
## Loan Arrears Report The Loan Arrears Report tracks overdue loan payments, identifies delinquent accounts, and helps manage collections. You can filter loans by maturity status, either passed or not, and age range as well as choose payment percentage greater than or less than a certain value.
## Loan Status Report Use the Loan Status Report to track the status of your loans - active, paid, or closed. Stay updated on your organization's lending activities. The report includes filters for dates, passed maturity, and missed payments.
## Loan Disbursement Report The Loan Disbursement Report shows a list of disbursed loans. It helps you monitor your lending progress. You can filter by branch, loan status, loan product, dates, loan officer, and disbursement method.
## Portfolio At Risk Report The Portfolio At Risk Report provides insights into the health of your loan portfolio by highlighting loans at risk of default or delinquency, helping with proactive risk management.
## Loan Repayment Report Loan Repayment Report displays borrower payments, status, and progress.
## Client Report Access a comprehensive overview of your clients via the Client Report. ## Shareholder Report The shareholder report provides a comprehensive overview of shareholders, including membership fee details, savings balance, total shareholder equity, and the number of shares held.
## Expenses Report The Expenses Report provides a detailed breakdown of your organization's expenses, enabling better financial management and cost control. You can filter by authorized by and journal account.
## Fees Report The Fees Report offers a detailed breakdown of your organization's collected fees, aiding in financial analysis and revenue tracking.
## Loan Officer Report A loan officer report serves as a tool to monitor and assess the performance and progress of loan officers within a financial institution.
## Loan Officer Summary Report A loan officer summary report provides a consolidated overview of a loan officer's active loans, including details on total repayments collected and other pertinent information.
## Savings Report The Savings Report shows your organization's savings accounts' activity, including deposits, withdrawals, and balances, for a clear view of your savings program's performance.
## Snapshot Report An institution snapshot report offers a concise and comprehensive overview of key metrics, financial performance, and operational highlights, providing stakeholders with a quick and informative summary of the institution's current status. ## Summary Collection Report A summary collection report provides a condensed presentation of collected payments, outstanding balances, and key information related to the status of debt repayments, offering a quick overview for effective financial management and decision-making.
## Cumulative Savings Report A cumulative savings report offers a consolidated summary of savings over a specified period.
## PAR Aging Report A PAR (Portfolio at Risk) aging report presents a detailed breakdown of the delinquency status of loans in a financial portfolio, categorizing them based on the length of time they have been outstanding, offering insights into the aging and potential risks within the portfolio.
## Loan Book A loan book represents the total amount of outstanding loans held by your financial institution.
## Savings Officer Report A savings officer report is a document that provides insights into the performance of a savings officer.
