Choose 'Physical Assets' to access a page displaying a list of physical assets, including their name, serial number, asset type, location, and whether they are sold or not. To add a new asset, click the 'Add Physical Assets' button.
Select the 'Add Physical Assets' and fill in the form.
Branch: Select the branch that the asset will be under.
Asset Name: Input the name of the asset
Asset Type: Select the category that best describes the asset.
Location: Input the physical location of the asset.
Payment Method: Choose from cash, cheque, or credit.
Purchase Date: The date you purchased the asset.
Purchase Price: Input the price at which you purchased the asset.
Current Value: This will automatically be the same amount as the purchase price.
Condition: Select the category that best describes the condition of the asset.
Serial Number: Enter the unique serial number on the asset. This number facilitates tracking of manufacturing details, warranty information, and service requests.
Useful Life: Enter an estimate of the expected duration the asset will remain operational based on factors such as industry standards, usage patterns, and maintenance history.
Salvage Value: Enter the asset's expected value at the end of its useful life.
Warranty Information: Tick the box to fill in the warranty information.
Notes: Include any additional information or details about the asset.
Subject to depreciation: If the asset is expected to decrease in value over time, such as through wear and tear or technological obsolescence, check this box to indicate that it is subject to depreciation.
To view detailed information about a physical asset, click on its name.
To set the profile picture for the asset, click on the camera icon and select the desired photo.
To modify the information, click the edit icon, which resembles a pencil.
To include files, documents, or pictures as attachments, click on the attachment symbol. Then, select "Select File to upload," browse your files, and choose the item you wish to attach to the asset and name it then save.
The Schedule Maintenance page allows you to prepare your asset for maintenance efficiently. You can select the scheduled date and specify if it recurs, setting the frequency and end date. Additionally, you can assign the scheduling to a specific staff member for accountability.
When selling off an asset, input the sale amount, sale date, description, chosen payment method, and specify if it's a partial sale.
A partial sale refers to selling only a portion of an asset rather than the entire asset.
