# Transfer Shares

**Important Considerations:**

* Ensure that the client being transferred from has available shares. You can view the number of shares when searching for the account after selecting the 'From Account' field.
* Make sure you're not transferring more shares than the client currently has.
* Double-check that the 'From Account' is the client you're taking shares from, and the 'To Account' is where the shares are being transferred.
