Select 'Individual', click 'Add New Client', and input the correct information.

Creating a New Client

Fields marked with stars in the client form are mandatory. You must fill in these fields before submitting the form. Other fields are optional, but we recommend filling out as many as you can.

General Information

Key fields under general information:

  • Registration Date: You cannot put a date that goes beyond the 'Allowed Days For Back Dating Records' that are set in your bank details.

  • Assign Client a Savings Account: Selecting this option will activate the 'Account Type' field where you can choose a savings account for the client. If the client is not saving, leave it unselected.

  • Branch: Select the branch that the client will be under.

  • SMS Message Consent: Whether the client would like to receive SMS' from your institution or not.

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Gender

  • Client tags: Tags allow you to group clients into specific categories for easier organization and reporting. To create tags, navigate to the Branch section, where you can define the tags. Once created, these tags can be attached to clients who fit the corresponding categories.

    For example, you can create tags like Western, Eastern, and Northern. Attach these tags to clients based on their regions. When generating reports, you can filter by tag, such as Northern, to analyze the performance of clients in that region.

  • Primary Phone Number: This number must be unique and not assigned to any other client in your institution.

  • Email: Keep in mind that the email should follow the standard structure. For instance, atm@sparks.com.

  • Date of Birth

  • NIN: This field should strictly have 14 characters.

Business Information

Key fields under business information:

  • Is Business Registered?: Select this if the client's business is registered.

Next of Kin

Key fields under Next of Kin:

  • NIN: This field must strictly contain 14 characters.

Beneficiary

To add beneficiary information, tick the box labeled 'Add Beneficiary'.

A beneficiary is an individual or entity designated to receive funds from a financial arrangement.

Key fields under Beneficiary:

  • Name

  • Relationship

  • Entitled Percentage: Include the percentage of the finances that will be allocated to the beneficiary

  • Add Button: If you want to add more than one beneficiary, click the '+ Add' button.

  • Remove: If you wish to remove a beneficiary, click on the green "Remove" button located at the top right of the form.

Employment Details:

To add employment details, tick the box labeled 'Collect Employment Details'.

Key fields under Employment Details:

  • Employer Name: Add the name of the client's employer

  • Employer Location

  • Employer's Contact

  • Job Title

  • Salary Currency: For example UGX

  • Employment Terms: Permanent employment offers ongoing job security with benefits, contract employment is for a fixed duration or project, while probationary employment allows for evaluation before permanent status is confirmed.

  • Gross Pay: The total amount an employee earns before taxes, benefits, and other deductions are taken out.

  • Net Pay: The amount of money an employee receives after all deductions and withholdings are taken out

  • IPPS Number: A 15-character unique identifier for an employee in the Integrated Personnel and Payroll System (IPPS). You don't need to type the leading zeros. Simply type the ending digits and they will appear.
